UGears Mechanical Celesta

UGears  Mechanical Celesta. is a wooden model and a musical instrument that combines elements from the piano, a music box, and a xylophone!

Follow the illustrated instructions to complete your comprehensive model build, then choose one of two unique ways to play music with your DIY musical model!

You can use the piano-style keys to strike the special metal plates and produce musical notes over a full octave range, from C to C.

Or, you can choose to "pre-program" your Celesta by composing your chosen melody on the piano drum, then play it back by turning the crank!

Your kit contains all the laser-cut plywood parts, cotton ropes, wooden balls and metal plates required to assemble your model (no glue or special tools required).

Selected melodies also included such as "Happy Birthday", "Silent Night", and "Ode to Joy" among others.
